A New Rock-breaking Service
for Georgia and SC quarries
Safe, simple, fast & affordable
What we do...
Terminator Breaking Services is a US company set up to break hard oversize boulders in quarries for an affordable ton rate. We work mainly in granite and trap rock. When you have a pile of oversize we will come to your site and break it to your specified size.
Quarry oversize is a nuisance. It costs money to move and stack. It gets in the way and sooner or later needs either breaking or dumping. Breaking hard-rock boulders is usually slow and expensive. Today’s quarry operators want lowest cost and least maintenance. They need high safety standards and to avoid risks with equipment, personnel and expense decisions. Our service offers improvements on all of them.

We can:
- Minimize risk on rockbreaking operations. We will work safely with your rules and your team. Capital cost, expensive breakdowns, labor shortages, training and non-spec material are no longer your problem.
- Reduce cost. When all productivity, operating and ownership costs are calculated in the breaking equation, our Terminator option should deliver the lowest cost per ton.
- Minimize stacking & moving, maximize quarry floor. You can heap the rock up more as we can work a 6’ - 8’ high row rather than windrowing in a single layer. That leaves more room on the quarry floor and benches, shorter loader runs between the shot and the oversize pile, and because this takes up less room, longer between visits which reduces breaking costs and smooths scheduling.
- Break everything, no matter what size or hardness. The Terminator production rate is not greatly affected by rock size, so we like your big stuff, and it costs the same.

How it works.
A typical job size is 5,000 tons to more than 100,000 tons.
Call us to discuss job size and pricing. The price will vary according to:
- The finished size of rock - smaller costs more. Our normal aiming point is for the finished rock width measurement to be no more than 80% of the crusher opening size.
- The number of tons – cost per ton reduces as volume increases.
- Accessibility of the rock to break – this depends on pile location (quarry floor, dumped down a slope, etc.) and whether you clear away as we go.
- Amount of daily site coordination required by our staff with site personnel and management before, during and after the work. Time off the breaking is essential for safety management. Longer breaking time per day reduces cost.
- Any special safety conditions. We will look at your rockpile and work with you on methodology to ensure all safety conditions can be met.

We agree commercial terms based on estimated volume and special conditions. Once a contract is signed we follow your site processes for our staff to complete inductions and agree to your safety, access and any other company regulations.
The rock piles are surveyed using a drone and stockpile software, the volume is agreed and confirmed in the contract. Any exclusion areas are agreed – vehicles and personnel must be minimum 60’ from the rock breaker when it is operating. Then we break the rock.
Quality Assurance is done and if any remeasuring or re-breaking is required, we do that.
The job is billed and paid according to the contract terms.

OUR STORY
In the 1990’s and early 2000’s we supplied equipment through a dealer in the US, but this arrangement did not meet our high standards. Since 2003 we have operated successfully in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Australia and Central America. When the new XT models were launched in 2022 we found that with one Terminator we could break several times more oversize in a year than most quarries produce.
Recognizing the potential for efficiency and cost savings, we established Terminator Breaker Services Inc. in 2025 to offer rock-breaking as a service. Quarry operators no longer need to invest in equipment, train operators, or take the risk of adopting new technology. Instead, they pay only for finished rock on the ground—risk-free, cost-effective, and highly efficient.
The Terminator Breaker journey started in 1987, with a loader-mounted version sold in the North-Eastern States. 38 years later through constant innovation we now have the most powerful and versatile hammer on the market. Angus Robson, the founder of Terminator has greatly advanced the technology in the last 15 years, with several patented inventions delivering much more power, versatility and reliability.
Terminator Breakers have been sold worldwide for use in mining, steel breaking, civil construction, breaking oversize, armor stone and demolition. Some units have over 20,000 hours which is a testament to productivity, reliability and customer preference. Many of our customers are repeat buyers who trust our technology and service.
We have maintained an excellent safety record. No reported injuries have occurred using the Terminator over the last 20 years when operating within proper guidelines. Our reputation for safety and service is very important to us, and we aim to meet your expectations on every job. We try hard to establish long-term reliable business relationships. We invite you to judge us based on our performance.
